League Championships
Our leagues have now completed play for the season so afternoon tee times are open. All of the championship matches ended up being highly competitive which seemed to create a little extra club grip as the 18th hole approached. Many matches came down to the last hole or two before the winners were decided. More important was the fact that all the players had a fun day on the course, a good meal and went home with a prize or two. Fall Rates
Fall rates will begin Monday September 26th.
Weekend 18 hole fees $25
Weekday 18 hole fees $20
18 hole carts $10
The Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Senior Special will remain in effect.
Nine hole players will receive Comeback Coupon discounts.
Aerating Schedule Complete
Because of the excellent weather we were able to complete our fairway aerating by Sept. 16th, one week earlier than planned. Greens look really good and now that we have returned to our normal mowing and rolling schedule they putt good also. After the weather abnormalities which we have endured this past year, aerating will be just one important tool used to reestablish a healthy root system and plant. This year more than most, it will be vitally important to get all turf properly prepared for winter so it has a fighting chance at survival.
Fall Colors
Fall colors are supposed to be breathtaking this year. Don't miss a chance to enjoy a fun round of golf and lots of showy fall colors during your drive to Bellwood Oaks and on the course. The burning bushes on #6 are showing hints of their spectacular colors already.
